Let’s Talk about the Role
The eCommerce Merchandiser dedicated to Experience Optimization is responsible for driving continuous improvement of the eCommerce user journey and onsite performance through a deep focus on conversion rate optimization (CRO), data-driven testing, and personalisation. This role leverages advanced digital analytics and experimentation to optimize each stage of the customer journey, maximize engagement, and implement targeted personalisation initiatives that deliver measurable revenue growth and enhance customer experience.
How You Will Make a Difference

Lead and execute CRO initiatives Own the end-to-end process of defining, planning, and delivering A/B and multivariate tests to optimize the online customer experience and deliver incremental improvements in key conversion metrics.

Deliver actionable user journey insights Use quantitative and qualitative analytics to systematically identify friction points and uncover opportunities for performance uplift across all digital touchpoints.

Drive personalisation strategies Identify and implement personalisation opportunities through segmentation, behavioral targeting, and dynamic content, improving relevance and engagement for different audience segments.

Translate data into commercial action Transform analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations for rapid test-and-learn deployment, collaborating closely with Customer Experience, Product Content, Trading, and Technology teams.

Own reporting and impact measurement Develop and deliver testing reports to track programme performance, communicate learnings, and quantify business impact of CRO and personalisation projects.
Skills for Success

Proven experience (indicatively 2-3 years) in digital merchandising, CRO, or digital product optimization within a high-traffic e-commerce environment.

Degree in Digital Marketing, Analytics, E-commerce, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.

Fluency in English with excellent verbal and written communication.

Strong analytical mindset with demonstrated ability to interpret complex datasets, generate actionable insights, and measure the commercial impact of tests and personalisation initiatives.

Demonstrable knowledge of A/B testing and experimentation methodology, with hands-on experience designing and interpreting experiments at scale.

Interest and experience in leveraging AI technologies (machine learning-based recommendations, automation, personalisation) within e-commerce or digital retail; ability to evaluate and integrate AI-driven solutions.

Advanced proficiency in key digital analytics and optimization tools: Google Analytics, Quantum Metric, Optimizely, Blueconic, Bloomreach.

Excellent communication and collaborative skills, team-oriented with a positive attitude.

Ability to develop and manage relationships with other departments and external vendors and agencies.

Experience and mindset for working in a global company, including teaming up effectively with international colleagues and adapting to cross-cultural collaboration.

Bonus: Experience with UX Design and familiarity with user research best practices.
