Tasks
- Oversee and develop a 4-member team, managing tasks and priorities.
- Ensure accuracy in monthly and annual financial statements and reconciliations.
- Manage operational accounting processes, including payment runs and budgeting.
Skills
- Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent; 5+ years in accounting.
- Strong grasp of accounting processes (AP/AR/GL) and ERP systems.
- Excellent Excel skills and fluent in German and English.

About the job
Activities- Professional and personnel management of a 4-member team including task distribution, prioritization as well as coaching and further development
- Responsibility for monthly and annual financial statements (AP, AR, bank reconciliations, provisions, closing entries, balance sheet and account reconciliations) including ensuring data quality
- Management of operational accounting processes including payment runs, budget-based disbursements and invoice creation
- Escalation point for operational issues as well as interface to IT and external partners
- Key user for Esker (AP workflow) including support with tests, releases and continuous process optimization
Requirements
- Completed studies in accounting/finance or comparable further education
- At least 5 years of professional experience in accounting, ideally with leadership experience
- Sound knowledge of monthly and annual financial statements as well as balance sheet and account reconciliations
- Very good understanding of accounting processes (AP/AR/GL)
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g. Business Central, LucaNet)
- Confident handling of Esker or comparable AP workflow systems is an advantage
- Very good Excel skills
- Structured, resilient and detail-oriented working style
- Fluent in German and English
