Approximately 1200 electroconvulsive therapies (ECT) under short anesthesia are performed annually in the Department of Interventional Psychiatry. The preparation and aftercare of ECT patients take place in the recovery room. We also offer treatments with repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) as well as treatments with Esketamine.
We are looking for a dedicated individual from February 1, 2026, to May 31, 2026, or by arrangement, who will focus on monitoring in the recovery room as well as supporting the secretariat. This temporary position arises due to the maternity leave of an employee and offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative environment.

Tasks
- You will care for and monitor our outpatient and inpatient patients in the recovery room before and after ECT, actively shaping their recovery process.
- Your duties include establishing venous access, with the possibility of further training in this area to expand your expertise.
- During Esketamine treatments, you will care for outpatient patients in collaboration with the physician.
- You will independently perform rTMS treatments with the support of the physician.
- You apply your medical knowledge in the independent execution of medically prescribed measures.
- You are trained to recognize emergency situations and complications early and to act appropriately.
- Logistical and administrative tasks in the secretariat are also part of your diverse activities that contribute to smooth operations.

- You have completed training as a Certified Nurse HF or Health Specialist EFZ.
