About the job
Your tasks
You lead the Planning Department. You manage the Planning Department, currently consisting of 5 landscape architects, a draftsman, and 3 employees with planning technical preliminary stages, competitions, and preliminary projects, and you lead in strategic, personnel, organizational, professional, and financial matters.
You design green and open spaces: Together with your team, you design the green areas, open spaces, and public spaces in Basel. You are responsible for the planning and implementation of projects and their realization. You are the contact person for the project managers and project teams.
You are responsible for project processing, project coordination, and adherence to financial resources. You are also responsible for project development and project support.
Your profile
Experience: You have proven experience in leading a team or a department as well as in managing complex planning projects with various stakeholders and different interests while adhering to financial resources.
Personality: With your commitment to the topic of green, you motivate employees and stakeholders. As a team player, you act independently, confidently, and strategically. You are interested in the development of projects.
Education: You have a completed degree in landscape architecture, environmental sciences, biology, geography, or have a comparable education.
