The St. Gallen Cantonal Police ensures peace, security, and order around the clock in the canton of St. Gallen. It investigates crimes and monitors compliance with applicable laws.
The main department of Technology & Logistics centrally manages larger technology and infrastructure projects and is responsible for the maintenance and further development of the entire IT and radio infrastructure as well as the service vehicles. It also includes the emergency call and operations control center as well as reception and mail services.

What to expect
- Financial planning: You dedicate yourself to planning, monitoring, and controlling finances for the projects and departments of Technology & Logistics, including profitability calculations and the development of control dashboards
- Financial analysis: You conduct cost-benefit analyses, identify savings potentials, and prepare financial reports with recommendations for action for all departments and projects
- Risk management: You proactively identify trends and financial risks and derive concrete recommendations for action
- Consulting / Support: Through close collaboration with main and department heads as well as project managers, you support them in various operational issues
- Change management: With a focus on achieving project goals, you are an important support in development accompaniment
What distinguishes you
- Education: You have a completed degree (university/university of applied sciences) in business administration or a comparable field at the same level
- Professional experience: You have several years of practice in financial planning or are willing to gain it within the team
- Analytical strength: You are characterized by a pronounced analytical and conceptual thinking ability as well as the ability to clearly and understandably prepare complex issues
- Personality: You succeed in thinking networked and, through your service orientation and pronounced communication skills, find it easy to act as a connector across various levels
