As part of a project whose implementation depends on obtaining funding, Caritas Switzerland is looking for:

Your tasks
- Develop links and facilitate work with all institutions and agrosylvopastoral and fishing organizations in Mali
- Support the ministry of Agriculture's AMOA
- Deepen the conditions for setting up and operating the SNCA system to be implemented
- Facilitate and optimize the integration of the SNCA to be implemented into the existing sectoral organization by addressing potential difficulties and/or overlaps and strengthening complementarities
- Lead national working groups and participate in the awareness campaign in the regions
- Contribute to the finalization of the operational system
- Mediate between actors whenever necessary
- Substitute for the head of mission during their absences in coordinating the team, managing activities, and liaising with the client and local authorities
The sought profile is that of an expert in structuring and governance of agricultural services
Qualifications:
- Engineering degree or university degree (master / Bac +5) in agronomy, agricultural development, or rural economics;
- 10 years of experience in public or private agricultural development organizations
- 10 years in implementing strategies, policies, programs, or development projects;
- 1 short-term mission in each administrative region of Mali over the last 10 years;
- 3 years managing a development project funded by an international donor on implementing a financial support strategy for stakeholders
- 5 years of experience with public and private agricultural advisory systems;
- 2 years of experience (total) in facilitating multi-stakeholder groups, mediation, and institutional intermediation in the agricultural sector;
- 3 years of experience (total) in organizing agricultural advisory services in three countries outside Mali
- Knowledge of GIZ in Mali is an asset
- Very good knowledge of French (spoken and written);
Attitude and behavioral skills:
- High writing skills;
- Ability to work under pressure;
- Good adaptability, listening, and negotiation skills;
- Ease in working both in a team and independently; rigor and precision;
- Adherence to the values and Code of Conduct of Caritas Switzerland.
The workplace is Bamako, Mali.
Start date: December 2025
