The Road District Inspectorate Wattwil is responsible for the structural and operational maintenance of 129 km of cantonal roads.
To strengthen our team, we are looking for an
Employee Road Maintenance Service (m/f/d)
for the Flooz depot in Wattwil starting August 1, 2026, or by arrangement.
Workload: 100%
Workplace: Wattwil
What to expect
- Focus on marking, signaling, operation, and construction
- Maintenance and construction work on roads and smaller structures as well as drainage
- Operational maintenance work such as road markings, green area maintenance, cleaning work, etc.
- Snow removal and ice control
- On-call duties during winter service and in case of accidents
What distinguishes you
- Completed training as a specialist in operational maintenance – work service specialization or a completed manual vocational training in the main construction trade or equivalent professional experience in a comparable activity
- Independent, physically resilient personality with an efficient working style
- Team player, collegial and helpful
- Driver's license category B, BE (ideally category C or CE or willingness to obtain it)
- Reachability of the depot within 25 minutes
- Willingness to work outside regular working hours
