Project Manager for the Leenards Memory Center
The Leenaards Memory Center is looking for a Project Manager to join the CareMENS project, at a 60% activity rate starting June 1, 2026.
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, CHUV plays a leading role in medical care, medical research, and education.
The Department of Clinical Neurosciences includes the neurosurgery, neurology, neuropsychology and neurorehabilitation services, the Leenaards Memory Center, the Neuroscience Research Center, and the Spinal Surgery Service. It offers integrated and personalized care to patients suffering from diseases of the central and peripheral nervous system, from brain to muscle.
Inaugurated in 2013 and led by Professor Gilles Allali, the Leenaards Memory Center is a center of excellence dedicated to the care and research of Alzheimer’s disease and other cognitive disorders related to aging. Combining multidisciplinary clinical expertise and cutting-edge translational research, the CLM’s mission is to improve understanding, early diagnosis, and management of neurodegenerative diseases.
Mission
You will be part of a dynamic team within the Leenaards Memory Center (CHUV), the largest Memory Center in Switzerland, bringing together a multidisciplinary team composed of neuropsychologists, geriatricians, neurologists, psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers.
In this context, you will act as the project manager for CareMENS for a duration of 4 years, leading the deployment of this program in Ticino and German-speaking Switzerland. Already implemented in French-speaking Switzerland, this care model allows the management of patients presenting cognitive decline (Alzheimer’s disease and related syndromes), notably in physiotherapy, neuropsychology, and speech therapy.
To sustain the benefits of therapies, the program also integrates a community dimension as well as support by a care manager.
You will benefit from numerous training opportunities in the field of neurodegenerative diseases, through colloquia, seminars, and internal and external conferences covering a variety of theoretical, experimental, and clinical topics.
As part of your duties:
- You will be responsible for deploying the program in Ticino and German-speaking Switzerland and for leading the implementation of the strategic axes of the CareMENS project, ensuring monitoring of indicators, risk management, and coordination with partner Memory Centers (Ticino and Biel), in a logic of harmonizing practices.
- You will contribute to the project’s communication strategy by participating in the development of communication plans, coordinating between centers, and organizing events such as training sessions and congresses.
- You will ensure the achievement of project objectives within the allocated deadlines and budget, guaranteeing the quality of services and smooth exchanges between the involved Memory Centers.
- You will ensure clear understanding of the project objectives among the various stakeholders by developing appropriate tools and materials.
Profile
- You hold a Bachelor’s degree in psychology or nursing and ideally have training in project management.
- You have at least 1 year of clinical experience (psychology, nursing, or social work).
- You have at least 1 year of experience in coordinating clinical or research projects.
- You possess a good knowledge of the Memory Center system.
- You master the issues related to behavioral, psychological, and cognitive disorders of pathological aging.
- You are motivated to work in an innovative and multidisciplinary project, with varied and stimulating missions.

- A right to at least three days of training per year, with access to a varied offer within the CHUV Training Center and partner training centers of the State of Vaud.
