The HUG have several hospital sites in the canton of Geneva, as well as the Crans-Montana Clinic (Valais). This clinic also offers summer replacements.

Job Description

During the summer period, the HUG offer children of staff the opportunity to do a summer replacement between June 1 and September 30, 2026, for a maximum duration of one month.

Several positions are available within the different departments and sites of the HUG with a focus on care, logistics, or administrative functions.

Summer replacements within the institution are exclusively reserved for young people who have a direct family relationship with a HUG employee and are 18 years old at the time of the replacement.

In order to offer the opportunity to as many young people as possible, meeting the criteria mentioned above, to do a summer replacement, it is not possible for a person to do more than two replacements, consecutive or not.

Furthermore, those wishing to do a summer replacement must agree to undergo the required vaccination checks beforehand.

Qualifications

Your application will be reviewed according to the choices mentioned in your online application (care, logistics, or administrative), workplace, your availability, as well as eligibility criteria (direct family relationship, not having done two summer replacements, consecutive or not). We will inform you by email of the decision taken no later than May 31, 2026.
