Assistant for clinical developments at the DCI Nursing Directorate
The Nursing Directorate of the Department of Interdisciplinary Centers (DCI) at CHUV is looking for an assistant for clinical developments, at a 30% activity rate, under a permanent contract.
The starting date is scheduled for January 1, 2026, or to be agreed upon.
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the five Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, it plays a leading role in medical care, medical research, and education.
The Department of Interdisciplinary Centers (DCI) brings together several technical platforms (central operating room, endoscopy center), as well as the Anesthesiology Service, Adult Intensive Care Service, Emergency Service, 144 Central, and Pharmacy Service.
Its missions are to provide highly specialized care by multidisciplinary teams, to guarantee quality teaching conditions in basic and postgraduate training, and to support the development of research, innovative projects, and quality initiatives.
Mission
- You promote the acquisition and updating of clinical knowledge derived from Evidence-Based Practices (EBP) to support the continuous improvement of care quality
- You initiate, lead, and support projects for the development of best care practices
- You encourage the creation and animation of clinical expert networks within the Department
- You support the Nursing Director of the Department in her various activities
- You participate in institutional activities and the sharing of good professional practices.
Profile
- You hold a HES nursing diploma or an equivalent title recognized by the Swiss Red Cross
- You have postgraduate training in one of the following specialties: intensive care (EPDSI), anesthesia (EPDSA), emergency (EPDSU), or operating room (IDDO)
- You hold a Master’s degree in nursing sciences
- You have at least 5 years of professional experience in the clinical field
- You have at least 3 years of experience in advanced practice
- You master common computer tools and software related to scientific research
- You are fluent in French and English, spoken, read, and written.
