Skills
- Abgeschlossene Ausbildung als Zolldeklarant/in oder gleichwertig.
- Selbständige, präzise und verantwortungsbewusste Arbeitsweise.
- Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift.

To strengthen our customs team in Basel/Weil am Rhein, we are looking for immediately a Customs Declarant 80 - 100%.
The position is limited until the end of October 2025 with option for permanent employment.
\n\n\nThe tasks at a glance\n\n
- Independent execution of import and export customs clearances
- Verification of customs-relevant customer information and documents
- Consultation and support of our customers including handling of complaints
- Communication and negotiations with customs authorities in compliance with regulations
- Registration and deregistration of transports as well as preparation of transit documents
- Monitoring of processes and ensuring timely clearance
- Calculation of duties and preparation of key figures/statistics
- Optimization of customs processes and participation in complex customer projects
- General administrative activities in customs
- Work in staggered day shifts between 06:30 and 18:00 (42 hours/week)
\n\n\nWhat is important to us\n\n
- Completed training as a customs declarant or equivalent qualification in customs
- Several years of professional experience in import customs clearance (border or domestic)
- Independent, precise, and responsible working style
- Strong communication skills, service-oriented, and resilient
- Very good German and English skills in spoken and written (additional languages are an advantage)
