Job Description
Reporting to the Executive Chef, the essential responsibilities and functions of the position include, but are not limited to:
- Providing professional, caring, and attentive services while assisting colleagues
- Managing stock and food orders for their service
- Ensuring proper rotation, labeling, and storage of food to reduce costs
- Bringing suggestions to improve food revenue
- Respecting company standards
- Ensuring all service standards are met
- Monitoring customer satisfaction on site through dining room colleagues
- Ensuring good communication between the dining room and the kitchen
- Managing work organization within their kitchen
- Controlling cleanliness and good condition of kitchen equipment
- Complying with HACCP standards
- Conducting service briefings and informing colleagues of changes, stock shortages, etc.
- Ensuring the training of their team
- Developing menus and daily dishes with the Sous Chefs
- Any other assigned tasks
Qualifications
- Available in the morning or evening, depending on activity
- Ability to work in a team
- Inventive and creative in their work
- Cooking diploma
- Ability to lead a team
- Ability to manage multiple requests simultaneously and handle last-minute changes
- Ability to focus attention on customer needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
