The Authority for the Protection of Minors and Adults APMA stands by people in difficulty. Those in need of help and support can count on APMA. Every day is different with us. Within the interdisciplinary team, we actively shape a secure future for adults, families, children, and adolescents in need of protection.
For the APMA Graubünden, Northern Graubünden branch, we are looking for a specialist for the assessment service starting June 1, 2026, or by agreement.
Tasks
- With great independence and autonomy and supported by a team with extensive specialist knowledge, prepares case analyses with corresponding requests to the authorities
- Contact and conduct interviews with the directly affected persons and their families, often in their private context
- Adapt the various assessment phases according to the concrete situation, respecting legal bases and in agreement with the person leading the procedure
- Gather relevant information from specialists, institutions, and involved offices
- Determine subsidiary and supplementary support offers
- Carry out crisis interventions appropriate to the situation
What we expect from you
- Degree in social work BSc/SUP/SSS or equivalent training
- Experience in the disciplinary fields of protection of minors and adults or willingness to pursue corresponding professional development
- Strong communication and social skills with a broad methodological repertoire
- Empathy towards people in difficult situations
- Analytical skills to structure and define complex social situations and initiate necessary interventions
- Desirable knowledge of KLIB
- Reliability and ability to cope with stressful situations as well as a strong sense of responsibility
- Independent personality capable of interdisciplinary thinking
- Flexibility, strong service orientation, and ability to work in a team in an interdisciplinary context
