Your Tasks
- Establishment and professional development of a specialized addiction outpatient clinic within the Psychiatric Institute Outpatient Clinic (PIA)
- Design and implementation of structured treatment offers for patients (m/f/d) with addiction disorders (e.g., alcohol, drug, and medication addiction)
- Establishment of reliable treatment processes, documentation standards, and quality structures
- Development of individual therapeutic treatment plans considering comorbid mental illnesses
- Close interdisciplinary collaboration with psychologists (m/f/d), addiction therapists (m/f/d), social workers (m/f/d), and nursing staff
- Cooperation with external partners such as counseling centers, self-help groups, hospitals, resident doctors (m/f/d), and addiction support facilities
- Conducting specialist medical diagnostics, including addiction medical assessment, withdrawal treatments in outpatient settings, and indication determination
- Conducting internal case conferences and participating in supervisions
Your Profile
- Recognition as a specialist physician (m/f/d) for psychiatry and psychotherapy, ideally with several years of experience at senior physician level or a clear perspective to reach it
- Experience in outpatient psychiatric settings, ideally in a PIA
- Completed additional qualification "basic addiction medicine care" is required
- Solid expertise in the treatment of addiction disorders as well as experience in addiction medical care (e.g., addiction therapy, outpatient addiction support, qualified withdrawal)
- Experience in establishing, structuring, or further developing clinical or outpatient care units is an advantage
- High communication skills, assertiveness, and an empathetic, professional approach to patients (m/f/d)
- Team-oriented, responsible personality with strategic thinking and interest in long-term collaboration
- Team spirit and commitment to patient-centered care
