Department: School of Management and Law
Start date: 01.04.2026 or by arrangement
- Leadership of the Development & Services staff unit in the International Business department, including leading and further developing a committed team.
- Overall responsibility for the operational financial and resource management of the department (including budgeting, forecasts, controlling, and SAP-supported project management).
- Advising and supporting the department management as well as the team heads in strategic, operational, personnel, and financial matters.
- Responsibility for managing and further developing the administrative and service areas as well as marketing & communication.
- Central interface to the SML staff, HR, finance & controlling, and other cross-departmental units of ZHAW.
- Active participation as a member of the department management in the strategic and organizational development of the department.
- University degree at master’s level, several years of relevant professional experience, ideally in the education or public sector.
- Management and initial leadership experience, combined with the ability to develop teams with clarity, trust, and motivation.
- Analytical strength, conceptual foresight, and solid know-how in financial management and implementation – combined with the willingness to go into detail yourself if necessary.
- Structured, service-oriented working style; convincing communication skills in German and English.
- High personal responsibility, organizational talent, and enthusiasm for shaping a future-oriented university.
