Scientific Employee (Pharmacist) 60–100%
For our Innovations department, we are looking for a Scientific Employee 60–100% by arrangement.
As a member of the Development team, you make an important contribution to the development and implementation of new, interprofessional services for the pharmacy. You develop, test, and implement interprofessional services for the pharmacy. In addition, you scientifically, methodically, and didactically accompany pharmacies throughout the entire process. You are interested in the challenges associated with the introduction of new services and have experience dealing with healthcare professionals and other experts. Within the framework of studies and the later national introduction in all pharmacies, you will train and coach them. You actively engage in the further development of pharmacy practice, strengthening professional scope of action, and sustainably enhancing the role of pharmacists as healthcare providers in the Swiss healthcare system.
Your main tasks
- Development and promotion of interprofessional collaboration in primary care.
- Co-development of tools and decision bases to support services in pharmacies with the aim of improving therapeutic relevance, medication safety, and quality of care.
- Creation, updating, and quality assurance of scientific documents for study participants to ensure validated, current, and practice-oriented knowledge.
- Training and advising pharmacists to strengthen their clinical competencies and independence in patient care.
- Preparation of presentations for various target groups.
- Organization and moderation of workshops and meetings.
- Supervision of subprojects (e.g., development of materials and internal procedures for pharmacies participating in the studies).
- Support in recruiting pharmacies for participation in the projects (communication and implementation).
- Support for pharmacies with scientific and methodological questions about the projects to ensure a successful start.
Participation in the evaluation of the impact of the services and tools used to ensure their effectiveness, sustainability, and contribution to continuous improvement.
Your profile
- You have a degree in pharmacy (M.Sc.), practical experience in community pharmacy, and preferably an FPH title in community pharmacy, hospital pharmacy, or clinical pharmacy.
- Experience in adult education and in creating didactic content (teaching materials, case studies, tools) is an advantage.
- You have good knowledge of the Swiss healthcare system and pharmacy practice.
- You are characterized by analytical thinking and scientific accuracy.
- You communicate clearly and appropriately for the target audience and have pedagogical skills.
- Your mother tongue is German, but you also have good knowledge of French.
- You have a good understanding of English in a scientific context.
- You demonstrate team spirit and professional behavior in the network.
- You show initiative, responsibility, and innovative spirit.
- You possess high adaptability as well as a pronounced quality and service orientation.
