Respectful and committed with head, heart and hand – that is what sumia stands for. In our senior center in Sumiswald, we offer 130 residents a personal and safe home in the rural Emmental. Around 230 employees and 40 volunteers are passionately committed daily to the well-being of our residents.

The catering team is responsible for professional guest service in the residential groups. As a maternity cover, we are looking for a from May 1, 2026 limited until 31.12.2026 a

• You are a host in a residential group and take care of our residents during the main meals
• You gladly take on all tasks related to the set table
• Weekend shifts are a matter of course for you

• Training as a specialist in housekeeping EFZ or
  specialist in hotel management EFZ or equivalent professional experience in a similar role
• Caring for elderly people fulfills you and gives you meaning
• You work with quality and hygiene awareness and take responsibility
• Appreciation, openness and team spirit shape your actions

• Employment according to the collective labor agreement of the Bernese long-term care institutions
• Your duty roster is available to you at least one month in advance
