Job description

Join Amaris Consulting and contribute to building the technical platforms of tomorrow within a demanding and innovative Research and Development (R&D) environment. This position is at the heart of our infrastructure teams, focusing on the performance, security, and agility of solutions dedicated to computer-aided design, simulation, and manufacturing.

Responsibilities

Define and implement technical environments adapted to the specific needs of R&D, in collaboration with infrastructure, security, and workplace teams.
Participate in designing the architectures of R&D infrastructure platforms, within projects or evolutions.
Be the single point of contact for functional IT teams to understand their needs and propose suitable technical solutions.
Collaborate with IT teams to industrialize and maintain recommended technologies, ensuring knowledge transfer.
Ensure the availability and performance of IT infrastructures for CAD, CAM, and simulation tools.
Provide technical support to R&D teams for analysis and resolution of incidents on design and simulation tools.
Be the security referent within the R&D perimeter.
Conduct technological watch and propose innovative solutions to improve the R&D environment.
Perform and compare technological benchmarks in the watchmaking and complex industries sectors.
Write technical documentation and evaluation reports.

About you

Engineering degree or master’s in computer science, industrial systems, or related field.
Proven experience managing complex infrastructures in industrial and R&D environments.
Mastery of virtualization technologies (VMware, HyperV) and storage (TSM, Spectrum).
Strong skills in Linux system administration.
Fluency in French and English, both spoken and written.
Excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
Innovative mindset and ability to maintain active technological watch.
