Sales Manager (m/f/d) – Member of the Executive Board
As a member of the executive board, the sales manager is responsible for the further development and sustainable advancement of a professional sales department that ensures growth, profitability, and long-term customer loyalty.
Main tasks:
- Overall responsibility for sales including co-design and implementation of the sales strategy
- Technical and personnel management of the sales team (3 employees)
- Strategic support of customers as well as sustainable expansion of existing customer relationships
- Main responsibility for pricing, market analysis, and systematic competitor monitoring
- Structured recording of customer needs and development of individual, economically sensible solutions in close coordination with internal departments
- Responsibility for budget, sales, and margin targets of the sales department
Your profile:
- Completed technical basic training (e.g., polymechanic, agricultural machinery mechanic, FH engineer or comparable)
- Additional training in sales or business administration (e.g., sales manager, sales & marketing, business administration)
- Several years of experience in B2B sales, ideally in mechanical engineering or industrial supplier environment
- Solid sales experience in an SME environment with direct responsibility for sales, margin, and customer retention
- Confident, persuasive personality with proven closing strength and confident argumentation
- Willingness to travel (approx. 40%), mainly within Switzerland for customer visits, project appointments, and trade fairs
- Very good German and French skills
