Within the interdisciplinary team, we actively shape a secure future for adults, families, children, and adolescents in need of protection.
For the newly created position within the APMA Graubünden, Northern Graubünden branch, we are looking for a Director of Support Services / Member of APMA starting on a date to be agreed.
- Organizational, specialist, and personnel management of the support services including assessment service, administration, legal service, and auditing (4 directly subordinate team leaders and a total of 20 employees)
- Assuming the deputy role of the branch manager (including management of APMA Graubünden)
- Active collaboration in the further development of the existing organization, specialist standards, and applied legal practice
- Decision-making within the interdisciplinary judicial board and co-responsibility for the disposition and adjustment of protection measures for minors and adults
- Management of assigned proceedings as well as drafting and processing of corresponding decisions
- Conducting own assessments and commissioning assessment tasks
- Personal hearings of persons in need of protection and other involved persons
- Consultation and support of guardians
- Collaboration with municipalities as well as specialized services and external institutions
- University diploma, university of applied sciences degree, or equivalent training in the legal field
- Outstanding, experienced personality capable of building relationships, with excellent communication skills and social competencies, and a strong awareness of different roles
- Several years of professional experience in legal social work, preferably in the field of protection of minors and adults at an APMA or an office of professional guardians, a court, or a juvenile prosecution office
- Excellent oral and written expression skills in German
- Strong teamwork skills and a pronounced service orientation
- Flexibility, high ability to cope with stress, and decision-making skills even in difficult situations
- Precise and independent working method and strong sense of responsibility
- Good knowledge of Office
- Willingness to be on call
- Category B driving license
