What to expect
As an underwriter, you will manage your own portfolio, prepare offers and policies, support restructuring measures as well as the management of customer and broker relationships – with the workplace optionally in Landquart or Winterthur. The role can also be performed in job-sharing. The following tasks await you:
- Independent underwriting within our tactical guidelines
- Implementation of restructuring concepts
- Preparation of offers and policies
- Management of an assigned portfolio
- Accompanying our Key Account Managers to customer and broker appointments
- Contact person for technical questions in the area of collective personal insurance, exclusively occupational pension schemes (BVG)
- Conducting technical training
- Participation in company projects
What you bring
- Commercial basic training or comparable professional qualification
- Federal specialist certificate as an insurance specialist or social insurance specialist or in training for it
- Experience in underwriting (collective personal insurance)
- Negotiation skills
- A service- and customer-oriented working style
- Confident German language skills
- High personal responsibility and ability to work in a team
