The Inheritance Office Glarus deals with estates of deceased persons who had their last residence in the canton of Glarus. Its tasks include the opening of wills and inheritance contracts, the issuance of inheritance certificates, and the identification of heirs. The office is part of the team of the Child and Adult Protection Authority Glarus and is supported by its secretariat.
We are looking for a
Commercial Clerk Inheritance 70–90 %
starting January 1, 2026, or by arrangement, with the workplace in Glarus.
Tasks
- Heir identification domestically and abroad
- Opening of dispositions upon death
- Issuance of certificates and dispositions
- Management of client recording system
- Invoicing and account assignment
- Telephone and personal contact with parties involved, authorities, insurance companies
- General correspondence
- Deputy for the head of the office
Requirements
- Commercial basic training
- Fluency in oral and written expression
- Careful work planning and organizational skills
- Precise and structured way of working
- Resilient, team-oriented, and discreet personality with high social competence
- Enjoyment of a versatile and varied range of tasks
