The Küsnacht school offers lunch, day, and holiday care for around 1,000 children from 1st kindergarten to 6th grade in four school-complementary care facilities (KICK). The children are cared for, supported, and fed during non-teaching times and school holidays.
In the care facility KICK Heslibach , 130 children with different social and cultural backgrounds are cared for and fed. As support, we are looking for a
Childcare Specialist 46% in the Kindergarten Group
Your tasks
- Working hours: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- Care and leisure activities for the children in the kindergarten group, in close cooperation with the group leader
- Regular professional exchange with the group leader
- Accompanying the children to and from kindergarten
- Various administrative and housekeeping tasks
- Participation in team and group meetings
- Collaboration in holiday care
What you bring
- Completed training as a childcare specialist (FaBe Kind)
- Professional experience in caring for groups of children in kindergarten and primary school age
- Positive attitude towards people, quality awareness, teamwork skills, resilience, and independence
- Very good oral and written German skills, knowledge of foreign languages is an advantage
- For applications with a foreign diploma/certificate, a Swiss diploma recognition must be enclosed
