Animal/Agricultural Caretaker for our Deer Enclosure (m/f/d)

ETH Zurich is one of the world’s leading universities for natural sciences and technology. The Animal Physiology group at the Institute of Agricultural Sciences deals with the physiology of reproduction in farm and wild animals.
We are looking for a committed person (workload 20-30%) who enjoys versatile work with wild animals.
Job Description
Your main tasks include caring for deer as well as maintenance and upkeep work of the deer enclosure at the workplace Walchwil, Früebüel (ZG). You document your work and your assessments of animal health electronically. You work closely with the primary caretaker and researchers and develop new possibilities for improving the husbandry as a team. With your craftsmanship and attentive eye, you contribute to the optimal care and well-being of our animals as well as to the maintenance of our facilities.
Profile
- You preferably have experience in animal care, agriculture, or garden/landscape maintenance
- You enjoy physical work outdoors
- You work reliably and responsibly with initiative
