House Host
Locke am Platz, Zurich – 60–80% (f/m/d)
Are you the "local best friend" for guests? An organizational talent with multitasking skills and a host gene? Together with your host team, our Head Host, and the Assistant GM, you are the face of Locke am Platz – the first point of contact for guests and visitors. From check-in to check-out, tips, recommendations, and everything in between: You have the overview.
What You Do- You create experiences that guests share with others.
- You know Zurich, sharing your knowledge with the team and guests.
- You act proactively on feedback and operational challenges.
- You handle inquiries and reservations across all channels – always with a smile.
- You master shifts alone and as part of a team.
- You become a pro in MEWS (PMS), navigating bookings and payments effortlessly.
- You implement Locke standards and bring ideas for process optimization and occupancy.
- You enrich the team with personality and experience.
- Dedication and sensitivity to people.
- Ambition and courage for personal development.
- Experience in guest contact, ideally at a hotel reception.
- Intuitive care and quick action.
- Strong communication skills, persuasiveness, and expectation management.
- An eye for detail, creativity, and flexibility.
- German & English at least B2, additional languages are a plus.
