About the job
At Implenia Wood Construction, everything is currently geared towards growth – not only because of our sustainable and naturally renewable building materials. Because we are growing beyond ourselves with exciting projects in view of the increasingly positive market situation of timber construction! In Zug, for example, we will soon create the (with over 80 meters) tallest wooden high-rise building in Switzerland – and in the Lokstadt Winterthur we are currently building the largest timber construction residential projects in the country.
To implement even more sustainable, digital and creative projects, we need your support – as a Wood Construction Foreman
Area of responsibility
- Leadership of the assigned project resources and monitoring their efficient use
- Development of solution proposals and assistance with concepts for the construction manager
- Support in the development of detailed solutions and representation in CAD
- Ordering materials in coordination with the construction manager
- Reporting deviations to the construction manager
- Ensuring the professional execution of work on the construction site
- Ensuring task-related work preparation
- Proactive coordination with internal and external parties
- Participation in construction meetings in consultation with the construction manager
- Preparation of time sheets
- Preparation of measurements
- Ensuring the implementation of safety regulations and rules
- Implementation of environmental protection requirements
- Preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly reports
Requirements
- Completed basic training as a carpenter with EFZ and training as a wood construction foreman
- Several years of professional experience
- Experience in the execution of timber construction projects
- Experience in dealing with clients
- Knowledge of Cadwork planning
- Good communication skills
- Entrepreneurial thinking
- Leadership experience
- Good basic IT skills
