Job Description
The Global Jr Marketing Manager supports O‑I’s category‑driven marketing efforts by consolidating market, customer, and competitive insights in partnership with Market Intelligence, developing customer‑ready materials, and supporting global category and innovation planning.
This role provides analytical support, content creation, and cross‑functional coordination to help develop and amplify marketing initiatives, scale commercial enablement tools across regions, and strengthen engagement with brand, innovation, sustainability, and marketing stakeholders at priority customers.
PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Insights, Innovation & Category Strategy Support
- Partner with Market Intelligence to consolidate and synthesise customer, competitive, and category inputs to support category strategy development and marketing planning.
- Support segmentation, opportunity assessment, competitive analysis, and category analysis for global marketing initiatives.
- Provide inputs to and support the development of innovation platforms
- Conduct complementary research as needed
2. Commercial Enablement
- Translate category strategies into clear, effective sales support materials that enable consistent commercial execution.
- Coordinate with Product Development, Design, Sales, and Communications to support execution of category‑driven go‑to‑market plans.
3. Marketing Communications and Customer Engagement
- Support the development and execution of marketing and engagement initiatives for customers across channels.
- Create and adapt insight‑led content for B2B marketing communications, including social media, events, presentations, and customer‑facing materials.
- Collaborate with Communications and Content teams to ensure consistent messaging and effective use of category and customer insights in external communications.
4. Measurement and Continuous Improvement
- Collaborate with CX and Sales to ensure marketing activities are populated into CRM
- Report out on key metrics and recommend improvements
SCOPE AND IMPACT
This role plays an important part in supporting the effectiveness and impact of the global marketing function
- Accelerates generation of valuable insights to support customer conversations
- Enhances consistency and quality of global commercial materials across regions.
- Provides structured support that helps teams operate efficiently and focus on strategic priorities.
- Contributes to stronger customer engagement through improved insights, materials, and storytelling.
- Interfaces closely with Market Intelligence, Design Services, Sales, the Head of Content, and regional product development and commercial teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Strategy, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in FMCG marketing ideally within Food or Non-Alcoholic Beverages companies
- Experience turning data into valuable insights for brand growth or product innovation, creating presentations, and customer-ready materials.
- Familiarity with B2B marketing a plus.
