Become an instructor for tram and/or bus – impart knowledge, safety, and passion for public transport!

As an instructor, in addition to your work in driving services, you take on a responsible role in the training and further education of our drivers. Several times a year, you supervise and conduct driving schools – thus significantly contributing to the quality and safety of our operations.

In this additional role, you train prospective drivers safely, competently, and confidently. At the same time, you support our existing employees in their professional development to enable them a positive learning and driving experience.

With your commitment, patience, and enthusiasm for public transport, you not only impart knowledge but also the values of BLT. In this way, you shape the safety and quality awareness of our team and actively contribute to a strong, lived corporate culture.

You enjoy working with people, keep an overview even in demanding situations, and value respectful, motivating interaction. Together with a strong team, you ensure that our drivers are well prepared – for safe, reliable, and customer-oriented mobility.

Your tasks

• Safe, punctual, and service-oriented execution of driving services in compliance with all regulations and quality standards
• Introduction, training, and follow-up instruction of new and existing employees in driving services according to the training concept
• Professional and personal support during the onboarding phase and further training measures
• Participation in the planning, implementation, and further development of training and coaching programs as well as in the creation of training materials
• Promotion of a positive team culture, respectful interaction, and continuous improvements in training and operational processes
• Imparting and promoting service-oriented, customer-friendly behavior in everyday professional life

Your profile

• Several years of professional experience in driving services or training in public transport
• Pedagogical skills and joy in imparting knowledge practically and understandably
• High social competence, empathy, and teamwork skills
• Driver's license category D is an advantage
• Responsible, reliable, and independent working style
• Confident and well-groomed appearance with a role model function
• Ability to act calmly, solution-oriented, and professionally in demanding situations
• Willingness to work irregular hours and flexible assignments
• Interest in the continuous development of training processes and materials
• Excellent German language skills in spoken and written form
• Good user knowledge of common MS Office programs
• Impeccable reputation
• Very good knowledge of driving service regulations

Employment requires passing the traffic psychological aptitude test and meeting the health requirements according to VTE.
