The main department of Technology & Logistics, with its Project Management & Engineering division, is primarily responsible for innovations in the police environment, the continuous development and modernization of work tools, and the optimization of processes.

Head of Project Management & Engineering (m/f/d)
Workload: 80-100%

What to expect
- Personnel, professional, and financial management of the department with 4 employees
- Close contact with all main departments of the Cantonal Police, recognizing needs, deriving future developments, and preparing proposals for the management of the St. Gallen Cantonal Police
- Management of the project portfolio, both strategically and operationally
- Ensuring the professional training and further education of the three subordinate project managers, as well as a specialist
- Responsibility for risk and quality assurance processes
- Participation in various project and working groups; within the St. Gallen Cantonal Police but also in the cantonal, regional, and national environment
What distinguishes you
- ETH / FH engineer with business management training, preferably in computer science or business informatics
- Leadership experience, strong social and methodological skills, as well as above-average communication and presentation skills
- Several years of experience as a program / project manager (ideally with HERMES) as well as knowledge of public procurement
- Strong customer orientation, innovative strength, and resilience
