Wädenswil is an attractive city on the left shore of Lake Zurich with about 25,600 inhabitants. Around 350 employees work in the city administration, providing comprehensive services to the population daily.
The Controlling department in the Finance division is responsible for the financial management of the entire financial budget of the city of Wädenswil.
For the small team, we are looking for a
Your areas of responsibility include
- Participation in budget and investment planning as well as in the multi-year financial plan
- Ensuring and further developing the Internal Control System (ICS), controlling instruments, and processes
- Preparation of analyses, key figures, and decision-making bases for internal stakeholders
- Development of meaningful reports and decision templates for the department management
- Management of (sub-)projects
- Support in the annual financial statement process
- Maintenance and care of master data, further development of evaluations and reporting tools
What you bring
- Professional or university degree in business administration/finance/business informatics or commercial basic training with further education in controlling
- High IT affinity and enthusiasm for data-based solutions
- Very good Excel skills, especially Power Query
- Knowledge and practical experience in the area of ICS
- Experience with BI tools is an advantage
- Analytical, conceptual thinking and a high quality awareness
- Independent, reliable personality with joy in interdisciplinary collaboration
