The EMS "Les Pins" is a long-term medico-social facility with 60 beds, intended for dependent elderly people. It offers a modern reception structure, with single rooms, in a warm and secure environment, perfectly adapted to the needs of our seniors. We are looking for:

1 Health Assistant M/F - 80%

Your mission

Under the responsibility of the head nurse and nurses and as a care professional, you will accompany our residents daily for their well-being, taking into account their life habits and wishes, respecting the ethical charter.

You will actively participate in the individualized support project for residents in an interdisciplinary team and ensure the traceability of written and oral information.

Profile sought

• Holder of a Red Cross Health Assistant certificate or the Fegems accompaniment assistant certificate or equivalent;
• A successful experience of 3 to 5 years minimum with elderly people, ideally in a living environment;
• Experience with patients suffering from cognitive disorders is a plus;
• Strong ease in interdisciplinary relations and excellent team spirit;
• Patient and excellent listening and communication skills;
• Demanding and endowed with a deep respect for the elderly person;
• Ability to question yourself and to question your professional practice;
• Dynamic, organized and autonomous to take charge of a group of 6 to 7 residents;
• Native French speaker;
• Good command of computer tools, experience with DIR Sadies is a plus

Contractual conditions

• Permanent contract
• Working hours in 8h and 12h continuous shifts and split - weekends and public holidays
• Class 6 (Geneva salary scale)
