Lavaux Hospital is a modern and attractive regional center, specialized notably in geriatrics, rehabilitation, and palliative care, offering high-quality local care serving the population of Vaud.
As part of the development of our institution and the commissioning of our new hospital (spring 2027), we are looking for a:
You will join the hospital at a key moment in its evolution. Initially, you will actively participate in strategic projects related to the new facility, including the deployment of IT infrastructures, equipment, and network, as well as the implementation of structuring digital projects, including the future electronic patient record (EPR).
This position is designed as a transitional role and preparation for succession, allowing close collaboration with the current IT manager to ensure a structured transfer of knowledge and responsibilities, with a progressive evolution towards the management of the Information & Technology Service.
Your main responsibilities
- Define and manage the IT roadmap in alignment with institutional objectives
- Plan and supervise network and system infrastructures
- Manage the IT project portfolio, from analysis to deployment, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met
- Define and implement an IT and innovation strategy aligned with institutional priorities (quality of care, human experience, efficiency)
- Ensure management and availability of business applications (EPR, JIRA, HRIS)
- Develop and deploy an IT strategy integrating cybersecurity challenges
- Guarantee the performance, security, and sustainability of infrastructures and applications
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, hospital network partners (FHVI), and external providers
- Design and deploy management and data analysis tools
- Ensure a robust technical architecture (networks, servers, cloud, mobility, integration)
Education and experience
- Hold a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree (HES, University, EPFL) in computer science, business informatics, or an equivalent qualification
- Possess a project management certification (PMP, Prince2, or equivalent)
- Have at least 5 years of proven experience in managing complex IT projects
- Demonstrate experience in IT and infrastructure project management
- Show interest in hospital information systems and digital transformation
Technical skills
- Mastery of the HERMES methodology (standard in Swiss public administrations).
- Excellent knowledge of ITSM platforms, the Jira tool, and good governance practices.
- Ability to navigate between strategic vision and operational interventions on the ground.
- Languages: Perfect command of French and very good knowledge of English (minimum B2 level).
