Job Description
We are looking for a professional and well-organized deputy store manager for our team at the Seewen-Schwyz location in Switzerland. This is an excellent opportunity to advance your career in retail management within a dynamic store environment. Working 80–100%, you will assist the store manager in delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring smooth daily operations and achieving sales targets.
- Support in managing all aspects of store operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory control, and merchandise turnover
- Supervise, train, and schedule store staff while fostering a positive and productive work environment
- Monitor and maintain store cleanliness, merchandise presentation standards, and compliance with company policies and local regulations
- Oversee customer service quality and handle customer concerns with professionalism and empathy
- Assist in achieving sales goals and analyze sales data to identify improvement opportunities
- Manage cash handling, POS systems, and financial transactions with accuracy and integrity
- Collaborate with the store manager on strategic initiatives and operational improvements
- Fairly and supportively resolve conflicts among employees and workplace issues
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members
- Maintain orderly records and documentation related to store operations and personnel
Qualifications
- Proven experience in managing or deputy managing a retail store
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate diverse teams
- Strong customer focus and interpersonal skills
- Proficient with POS systems and retail management software
- Solid knowledge of inventory management and stock control
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to analyze sales data and identify performance trends
- Strong communication skills in English; knowledge of German, French, or Italian is an advantage
- Problem-solving orientation and ability to make sound decisions under pressure
- Flexibility to work retail hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
- Advantageous: experience in Swiss retail or multilingualism
