Process Optimization and Innovation Engineer (m/f) Role Description
The Process Optimization and Innovation Engineer will be responsible for analyzing, developing, and improving production and operational processes with a data-driven and innovation-oriented approach. They will be a key player in identifying improvement opportunities, implementing new technologies, and optimizing resources to increase efficiency and reduce costs, while ensuring high standards of quality and sustainability. Process Optimization and Innovation Engineer (m/f) Role Description
The Process Optimization and Innovation Engineer will be responsible for analyzing, developing, and improving production and operational processes with a data-driven and innovation-oriented approach. They will be a key player in identifying improvement opportunities, implementing new technologies, and optimizing resources to increase efficiency and reduce costs, while ensuring high standards of quality and sustainability. Main Responsibilities
- Analyze existing production processes and identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities.
- Design and implement innovative solutions for process optimization.
- Identify and introduce new technologies, automation, and digital tools to improve productivity.
- Collaborate with production, automation, quality, maintenance, and R&D teams to ensure continuous improvement and innovation.
- Conduct Time & Motion studies, workflow analysis.
- Manage innovation projects in synergy with technology suppliers, research institutions, and industrial partners.
- Train staff on new processes and methodologies implemented.
- Master’s degree in Engineering.
- Knowledge of foreign languages (English and/or German).
- Previous work experience in the medical sector is appreciated.
- Excellent ability to work independently and in teams, with a spirit of collaboration and proactivity.
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving orientation.
- Attitude towards continuous improvement and innovation.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, also in multidisciplinary and international contexts.
