Intern for Equality Issues
Staff Unit for Equal Opportunities for Women and Men DECA | 60–80 % | Chur
The Staff Unit for Equal Opportunities for Women and Men is the cantonal specialized office for equality issues. Organizationally, it is assigned to the Secretariat of the Department of Education, Culture and Environmental Protection (DECA). In this internship of at least six months, you will gain insight into the work of the staff unit and its diverse activities. Key points include events, publicity work, and collaboration on equality projects.
For June 1, 2026, or by agreement, we are looking for an intern for the Staff Unit for Equal Opportunities for Women and Men.
Your field of responsibilities
- Support the organization of events
- Support the implementation of equality projects, especially Diversity-gr
- Cooperate in publicity work: social media, website, newsletter
- Conduct research on topics relevant to equality
- Handle general administrative tasks
What we wish from you
- A completed apprenticeship, preferably with a professional maturity, or a bachelor’s degree
- Interest in topics such as gender, equality, and diversity; experience in this sector is desired but not required
- An independent and results-oriented working style
- Good communication skills
- Enjoyment of contact, good receptiveness, diverse interests
- Knowledge of a second and possibly a third cantonal language is an advantage
