Accounting Specialist Mandates (60%)
The Accounting Department in the Finance and Administration area is responsible not only for the accounting of Caritas Switzerland but also for the accounting of various mandate accounts.
Your tasks
- Managing the financial accounting of regional Caritas organizations according to Swiss GAAP FER guidelines, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and asset accounting
- Managing cost center accounting
- Preparing quarterly/annual financial statements
- Preparing VAT returns
- Assisting with budgeting
- Organizing audits and preparing the financial report
Our requirements
- Commercial basic training
- Accounting and finance specialist with a federal diploma or in training
- Several years of experience in accounting and managing bookkeeping including financial statement preparation in an SME
- Knowledge of Abacus is an advantage
- Entrepreneurial thinking, initiative, and strong customer orientation
Work location: Lucerne
