Apprenticeship Branch Lenzburg Retail Sector Pet Store EFZ or EBA
Become part of our team
During your apprenticeship as a "Retail Specialist EFZ Designing Shopping Experiences" or Retail Assistant EBA in the pet store trade, you will work in one of the over 80 QUALIPET branches in Switzerland.
You are integrated into our daily business from the start, get to know our entire range, and competently advise our customers. You will also learn the species-appropriate handling of various domestic and exotic animal species. During your apprenticeship, you will go through all departments of a branch such as dog, cat, rodent, bird, aquaristics, and terraristics. Your trainer will accompany you through the workday, support you with advice and assistance, and prepare you for more demanding situations in retail.

- You enjoy presenting goods to customers and ensuring cleanliness in the store.
- You have completed compulsory schooling and are ready to learn new things during your training and at vocational school.
Retail Specialist EFZ – compulsory schooling at level A or B completed
Retail Assistant EBA – compulsory schooling completed
- We pay for your vocational school learning materials
- We cover CHF 150.- per apprenticeship year for a public transport subscription
- We pay you CHF 500.- towards a notebook or tablet
- You receive work clothes (top) from us
- We retain 90% of our apprentices after the apprenticeship
- One-time final exam bonus if you pass the final exam successfully
- Performance bonuses from an average grade of 4.5
- Employee discount on purchases for your own household
Salary during training
Retail Specialist:
1st year of training RS: CHF 850.00
2nd year of training RS: CHF 1,000.00
3rd year of training RS: CHF 1,500.00
Retail Assistant:
1st year of training RA: CHF 750.00
2nd year of training RA: CHF 950.00
When completing additional training:
3rd year of training RS: CHF 1,200.00
4th year of training RS: CHF 1,500.00
Of course, you as an apprentice also benefit from a 13th monthly salary.
Good academic performance is rewarded!
With the following average grades, you can earn a performance bonus per semester:
4.5 - 4.9 / CHF 200.-
5.0 - 5.3 / CHF 400.-
5.4 - 5.6 / CHF 600.-
5.7 - 6.0 / CHF 1,000.-
