About the job
The Office for Debt Enforcement and Bankruptcy of the Canton of Thurgau, with its five district debt enforcement offices and the bankruptcy office, is a central service provider within the cantonal administration. Around 100 employees, apprentices, and interns work in two specialist areas.
The Debt Enforcement Office District Arbon, located in Romanshorn, is responsible for carrying out all debt enforcement procedures in accordance with the provisions of the Debt Enforcement and Bankruptcy Act (SchKG).
To support our administration team, we are looking for a service-oriented personality in job sharing from July 1, 2026, or by arrangement as
Your Tasks
After thorough training, you will independently take on a variety of tasks at the counter and reception as well as in administration. You will be in regular contact – in person, by phone, and in writing – with debtors, creditors, employers, authorities, and other stakeholders.
Your Profile
You have completed commercial or equivalent training and ideally already have experience in the counter and reception area. Knowledge of debt enforcement law is an advantage, or you are willing to further educate yourself accordingly.
You work independently, precisely, and efficiently and keep an overview even in demanding situations. Thanks to your communication skills and empathy, dealing with people in difficult life situations comes easily to you. At the same time, you appear confident, have assertiveness, and always act discreetly and responsibly. A category B driving license is required.
