Train Dispatcher / Train Traffic Controller Cat. B (m/f/d) 80-100%
The train control center – the core of safe and punctual rail traffic.
To complete our control center team, we are looking for a flexible personality as a train dispatcher or train traffic controller Cat. B at the train control center in Aarau immediately or by arrangement.
- You manage and monitor the entire train traffic on the Menziken-Aarau-Schöftland route (WSB)
- You handle operational disruptions by initiating appropriate measures, coordinating train traffic and personnel, as well as ensuring the alerting of third parties and quality customer information
- You are responsible for vehicle deployment planning and take on additional tasks as needed
- You create and coordinate operational orders and processes
- Completed training as a railway operations dispatcher, train dispatcher - train traffic controller Cat. B or willingness to undergo this intensive six-month additional training
- Completion of at least a 3-year, federally recognized vocational training (EFZ) or high school diploma
- You gladly take responsibility and ensure the safety of rail traffic and our passengers through your decisions and actions
- You remain calm in hectic situations and quickly and correctly prioritize the tasks at hand
- You enjoy irregular working hours (shift and weekend work), have very good German skills, and are a team player
- Independent work with a lot of personal responsibility in a motivated and well-coordinated team
