For our Power Amplifier 2 group, we are looking for a candidate within the framework of the CHART/FCCee Injector collaboration project with CERN
Your tasks
- You carry out mechanical and electromechanical assembly work for the newly to be built and already operational klystron modulators and the associated accelerator systems in the SwissFEL test stand and in SwissFEL
- You contribute your knowledge to further and new developments. In doing so, you design and produce smaller mechanical parts or special components before assembling and installing them in the systems
- Mechanical maintenance and repair work on the high-frequency systems
Your profile
- Basic mechanical training in the machine industry sector
- Enjoyment of mechanical craftsmanship and prototype construction and a willingness to learn new things
- Open personality with strong teamwork skills and solution-oriented working style
- Confident German language skills, English is an advantage
