Lead Engineer Identity and Access Management (m/f/d) 80-100%

What to expect from us:

• Technical responsibility for our IAM services focusing on Keycloak, the User Profile Service, and the connected applications
• Maintenance, further development, and stabilization of existing services and integrations in the PHP environment
• Design and implementation of technical solutions considering product requirements, security, and operational needs
• Analysis, prioritization, and coordination of requirements across multiple systems and teams
• Close collaboration with product, stakeholders, and engineering to coordinate roadmap, dependencies, and solution approaches
• Technical leadership and collaboration in a small team with two other developers: 1x PHP, 1x JVM
• Ensuring reliable operations with the help of SRE including incident analysis, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement

What we expect from you:

• Solid practical experience with Java and Keycloak in professional and productive environments (SaaS environment is an advantage) as well as with the OpenID Connect (OIDC) standard
• Very good technical understanding of integrating authentication and authorization solutions into application landscapes
• Ideally practical experience with PHP and dealing with legacy systems
• Ability to pragmatically prioritize technical topics and translate them into sustainable solutions. This also includes modeling and maintaining role and permission structures.
• Confidence in communication with product and development teams as well as various stakeholders
• Talent to precisely understand business requirements and translate them into clear technical concepts and implementation steps
• High degree of personal responsibility, organizational skills, and clarity across multiple topics, systems, and technologies
