The Office for Informatics (AFI) is the IT competence center of the Canton of Zurich.
It provides comprehensive services in the area of central IT infrastructure and canton-wide applications for directorates, authorities, the judiciary, and independent institutions. Commissioned with the implementation of the new Information and Communication Technology (ICT) strategy, the office accompanies the canton into the digital world.

With innovative technologies such as Microsoft Azure, Power Platform, and AI, we develop solutions that digitally advance the Canton of Zurich. Therefore, we are looking for you as additional reinforcement in our team.
Your tasks
- Building and further developing our application landscape on Microsoft Azure
- Developing applications, components, and interfaces in .NET and JavaScript
- Subproject management or collaboration in customer projects
- Support and technical further development of existing solutions
- Participation in the development of guidelines and development standards
- Coordination of internal staff and external partners
Your profile
- Completed education in business informatics or comparable qualifications
- Several years of experience in a similar role
- Solid project and development experience in the area of Microsoft Azure
- Very good knowledge of C#.NET, ASP.NET, and JavaScript
- Experience with the Power Platform is an advantage
- Enjoyment of direct contact with our customers
- Strong communication skills, quick comprehension, and initiative
- Committed, creative, and resilient personality, with team spirit and willingness to learn new things
