Automation Technician CNC Maintenance (m/f/d)

What appeals to you

• Electrical diagnostics, repair, and maintenance of internal and external CNC production systems
• Participation in investment, machine, and plant construction projects (control system construction, PLC programming, retrofit)
• Willingness for regional external assignments outside our production in Heerbrugg
• Interesting and very varied activity with personal responsibility in a committed team
• Normal working hours (flexitime), on rare occasions on-call duty on weekends during high internal production load or special projects possible

What defines you

• Electrotechnical training (automation technician, electronics technician, industrial electrician, mechatronics technician, electromechanic) or equivalent further training in an electrotechnical field
• Solid knowledge in troubleshooting CNC controls such as Siemens, Fanuc, or Heidenhain (possibly others)
• Diagnostic experience and PLC programming skills, preferably Beckhoff TwinCAT, Omron, and possibly Siemens
• Experience in creating electrical schematics using CAD
• Basic knowledge of mechanics, pneumatics, and hydraulics as well as project experience (plant construction, retrofit) is an advantage
• Good knowledge of MS Office (Word/Excel) as well as German spoken and written
