Church Musician (30–40%)
The Church District Three includes Friesenberg, Im Gut, Sihlfeld, and Wiedikon – an urban, diverse area at the foot of the Uetliberg to the inner-city neighborhoods. Music holds a high value here. For our dedicated team, we are looking for you as of January 1, 2026 or by arrangement
Your tasks
- Musical design of services on organ and piano on Sundays and public holidays as well as special formats by arrangement
- Musical accompaniment of devotions in the senior centers Laubegg, Schmiedhof, and Tiergarten as well as in a prayer group
- Musical participation in ceremonies such as funerals and weddings
- Collaboration with pastors and musicians; participation in team meetings and conventions
- Opportunity to organize your own concerts depending on interest
Your profile
- Completed organ studies (DAS, master’s degree preferred) as well as piano studies
- Broad stylistic spectrum including popular music
- Experience in church music practice and joy in creative liturgical design
- Team-oriented and independent personality with joy in working with various stakeholders
- Good German skills in spoken and written form
- Positive basic attitude towards the Reformed Church
