The opportunity
Supply Chain Management is a cornerstone of business success — it’s central to everything we do.
We collaborate through multi-stakeholder partnerships and champion our supply chain value contributors to strengthen Hitachi Energy’s competitive edge.
In this role, you will be instrumental in building the supply chain organization for Hitachi Energy’s Service Business Unit. This includes defining key deliverables, establishing an efficient organizational structure, and setting up collaboration agreements. A core pillar of our strategy is to elevate the Service Business Unit by leveraging advanced procurement processes, cutting-edge tools, and a team of highly skilled supply chain professionals. This strategic approach supports both organic and inorganic growth, enabling Service to scale rapidly and sustainably.
How you will make an impact
- Make Safety, Integrity and Quality: the "license to operate" for our suppliers and partners by diligently driving awareness and compliance by improving processes, such as contractor/supplier qualification, tools, training and reporting.
- Maximizing Competitiveness and Value Creation: securing favorable business terms from the supply base while complying with Hitachi Energy’s General Terms and Conditions.
- Strengthening Resilience and Agility: removing supply chain bottlenecks and mitigating risks proactively by enhancing the ability to adapt, recover, and thrive in the face of adversity or change.

Your background
- Leadership & Communication: Proven ability to lead and communicate effectively.
- SCM Expertise: Deep knowledge of supply chain management processes.
- Matrix Influence: Skilled at driving results in a matrix organization without direct authority.
- Experience: 10+ years in relevant business roles.
- Language: Fluent in English.
- Cultural Awareness: Experienced in international, multicultural environments.
- Adaptability: Comfortable navigating ambiguity and change.
