You support the head of purchasing and his team in coordinating the international purchasing activities of the Intercoop House & Garden Cooperative. For this purpose, you prepare meeting documents and create presentations and minutes. You organize and monitor scheduling processes and coordinate meetings with national and international contacts. To a limited extent, you also negotiate independently with our business partners. You independently and reliably handle any administrative tasks.
Function as the "extended arm" of the head of purchasing / CPO
- Independent substantive preparation and follow-up of topics, presentations, meetings, and decisions.
- Independent development of concepts and decision templates for the head of purchasing.
- Proactive identification and implementation of optimization potentials in daily business.
- Management and monitoring of ongoing projects in close coordination with the CPO.
- Coordination and communication with national and international business partners at the management level.
Support in international purchasing activities
- Support of the head of purchasing and his team in coordinating the international purchasing activities of the Intercoop House & Garden Cooperative.
- Preparation of meeting documents as well as creation of presentations and minutes.
- Organization and monitoring of appointments and meeting processes.
- Coordination of meetings with national and international contacts.
- To a limited extent, independent negotiations with business partners.
- Independent and reliable handling of any administrative tasks.
Classic assistant and purchasing support tasks
- Administrative and organizational support of the head of purchasing and the purchasing team.
- Obtaining offers from suppliers and service providers, partly independently, partly under guidance.
- Support in conducting internal and external working groups, committee meetings, and the annual IC workshop / trade fair appearance.
- General administrative tasks and office organization
- Successfully completed commercial training or studies, ideally with a focus on purchasing, business administration, or comparable.
- Ideally professional experience in the assistant area, preferably in an international purchasing environment.
- Strong independence, initiative, and structured working style.
- Strong communication skills and professional appearance at all levels.
- High resilience and the ability to keep a cool head even in stressful situations.
- Very good knowledge of MS Office (especially PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
- Fluent German and very good English skills in spoken and written form; French or other language skills are an advantage.
- Organizational talent with a high degree of discretion and reliability.
- Desire to develop further within the company towards a purchaser role.
