Dispatcher for Western Switzerland

You plan. You coordinate. You inspire. Construction machinery is your passion, and you love tackling new challenges every day? Then we have the perfect job for you! Together with your service advisor and a team of 5 service technicians, you ensure that our machines run smoothly in the Lausanne, Vevey, and French-speaking Valais region – literally! In this responsible position, technical expertise, communication skills, organizational talent, and diverse language skills are required.
Your tasks - full of drive and responsibility
- Responsibility for the above-mentioned dispatch area in Western Switzerland. Workplace in Langenthal
- Responding to customer inquiries by phone or email and customer support
- Planning the assignments of the service technicians, scheduling appointments directly with customers, and creating efficient daily routes for our service technicians
- Informing customers about the execution times of repairs
- Preparing offers based on the service advisor's information and cost estimates
- Opening, planning, and processing work orders including material procurement for the service technicians
- Responsibility for checking and coding invoices
- Monitoring open work orders and processing status lists within your area of responsibility
- Representing other regions during the absence of other dispatchers
What you bring - personality counts with us
- Completed vocational training (EFZ level) – preferably with a technical background, such as construction machinery or agricultural machinery mechanic, and further training in the administrative field
- Enjoyment of telephone customer contact with proven professional experience in a comparable position (dispatch, customer service, etc.) – ideally in the construction machinery sector
- Cheerful, communicative personality who passionately handles customer concerns and remains calm even in stressful times
- Good manners, high customer orientation, initiative, and organizational skills
- Good geographical knowledge of Switzerland, especially Western Switzerland
- Very good PC user skills (MS Office). Additional applications are an advantage
- Fluent French in spoken and written form (native speaker or at least level C1)
- Good German skills, English skills are an advantage
