What you will do here
- Develop and conduct courses at bachelor and master level on topics of sustainability assessment (especially Life Cycle Assessment, LCA), circular economy, and sustainable transformation
- Supervise student projects (competency certificates and student papers)
- Acquire, work on, and lead research and service projects in the field of sustainability analyses and assessments of food systems
- Publish research papers in scientific and practice-oriented journals
- Help shape the strategic further development of the research group on sustainability assessment of food systems and contribute to the profiling of the Environmental and Resource Management (URM) degree program
What you ideally bring with you
- Completed master's degree (university of applied sciences or university) related to food systems, circular economy, or sustainability assessment, e.g., in geography, environmental, agricultural, or food sciences
- Didactic training or proven experience in higher education teaching
- Doctorate or equivalent scientific qualification is an advantage
- Several years of experience in applying the Life Cycle Assessment method (LCA)
- Good oral and written language skills in German and English, and ideally also in French
