Workshop Manager Tunnel Ligerz (m/f/d) 100%

For the Swiss Tunnel Construction department, we are looking for a Workshop Manager / Chief Mechanic for the Ligerz tunnel construction site. Your workplace will be Ligerz (BE), other assignments are possible.

Your tasks

• Operational management of the workshop
• Ensuring maintenance, servicing, and repair of tunnel construction machines and equipment within deadlines
• Assisting machine suppliers in diagnosing breakdowns and complex repairs
• Organizing materials, spare parts, and consumables (including stock management)
• Monitoring compliance with occupational safety and environmental protection regulations
• Keeping machine and maintenance documentation up to date (digital/analog)

Why you will succeed

• Completed apprenticeship as a construction or agricultural machinery mechanic with a federal certificate of competence (CFC)
• At least 5 years of professional experience in the sector, including as a workshop manager
• Knowledge in the field of tunnel construction machines and equipment
• Independent, reliable, and solution-oriented working method, as well as very good organizational skills
• Ability to work in a team and independently, high motivation and commitment
• Sense of responsibility regarding occupational safety
• Good knowledge of Italian or French is required, oral German skills are an advantage
