Company Description

The Official Youth Foundation (FOJ) aims to promote the psycho-social development of children, adolescents, and young people in difficulty, in collaboration with parents and partner institutions. Bound by a service contract with the State of Geneva, the FOJ is committed to the protection and defense of the interests of the child.

To fulfill its mission, the institution manages 47 structures spread across the Canton of Geneva, has more than 500 places for minors and young adults, and also offers outpatient educational services at home. The FOJ is composed of 670 employees.

To successfully carry out its mission, the FOJ is looking for two certified educators for its Grand-Saconnex residence, a 10-place boarding facility for adolescents aged 13 to 18.

Job Description

Support and assistance with the educational team for beneficiaries living in the residence.

Support for parenting.

Close collaboration with placement services and families.

Irregular working hours.

Activity rate: between 80 - 85%.

Contract type: permanent contract (CDI).

Start date: January 1, 2026.

Class: 13 or 15 according to the salary scale of the State of Geneva.

Qualifications

• - Bachelor profile in social work - University of Applied Sciences of Social Work (HETS)
• Certified Social Educator profile - Higher School (ES)
• University Bachelor profile - FAPSE degree with one year of full-time professional practice in boarding or IGE
• Foreign diplomas: SEFRI recognition or equivalent
• CAS PF, an asset
• Previous experience related to adolescents, an asset
• Ability to work independently and team spirit and initiative
• Good knowledge of the Geneva social network
• Good writing skills in French
• Possession of a driving license
